Our flavorful origin story…
Steph moved from Colorado to the Netherlands in 2012 to work as an au pair after high school graduation. While bouncing around the world from nanny job to nanny job, she had many-a-chance to try new coffees, cocktails, mocktails, and other treats. She learned just a little extra flavor can boost a beverage from basic and boring to fun and memorable.
After graduating from Indiana University in May 2020, she began a new career as an accountant in Philadelphia. Steph quickly started looking for ways to mix up her work-from-home routine. She first dreamt up MultiFlavor Company while experimenting with her morning cup (more like pot) of coffee.
She found syrups were the best and easiest way to adjust the flavor of both hot and iced coffee. She preferred just a few drops for a subtle change, with the option to add more for a stronger flavor. This grew to adding flavor drops to enhance baked goods, smoothies, seltzers and more. She wanted premium flavors in affordable, smaller bottles for freshness, and droppers for measured precision… but couldn’t find the perfect syrups anywhere. So, she founded MultiFlavor Company!
